I just had to capture the aftermath of a sneeze with a mouthful of sweet potatoes. I don't know why he has to be so smiley about it.
Feeding time is never boring. Here, Ethan had the hiccups, and then he made this crazy noise all through dinner. The best part is his face when he does it.
I just had to show off my ingenuity. I bought a mesh feeder, and Ethan loves it, especially when I put frozen applesauce or frozen, ground up pears in it. It's great for teething. He also enjoys grapes, bananas, apple slices, and things I would normally be afraid to give him because of the choking hazard. Anyway, he kept dropping it on the ground, and so I used a spring loaded ski pass thingy to clip it to the side of his tray. Now, when he drops it, or tries to throw it, it doesn't go very far snapping right back to the edge of the tray.
Apparently he thought the applesauce and cereal was just too sour. But this little blinking thing is something he just started doing recently.
Another thing he just discovered is his tongue. He went around all day today sticking it out. He's such a funny baby, and I think he's going to have a great sense of humor.
In case you haven't seen him really crawl yet, here it is. Nothing spectacular, but he gets around. Of course, he can go much faster than this, but he was feeling shy. He also usually uses one foot when crossing the hard floor, but we were unable to capture that. He's getting really good at standing up to things. The other day, while he was standing and holding my hand, my sister handed him a toy and he just let go of me. He stood there on his own for a good 10-15 seconds and then, nonchalantly reached over and grabbed my hand again as if nothing had happened.

It is such a fun age when each day they discover or accomplish many new things. What a good Mommy that you are appreciating them and documenting them!
