First birthdays are one of my FAVORITE holidays to celebrate with my kids. Thanks for sharing! I did banana cream pies for my kids first birthday, but that red jello is so CLASSIC! Maybe next time. My kids call Ethan "Sparkles". When I asked them why Zoe said, "because his eyes are so sparkley". Happy Birthday, Sparkles! We love you!

I'm so glad you carried on the jello cake tradition! I had hoped that you would. (Laura--did you use sugar-free jello? It just occured to me that that much sugary jello would make Ethan hyper.) Take care you guys.
